Eloise 1950s

Meet Eloise. She’s a strong and mischievous woman, cut from the same cloth as Marilyn Monroe, who was also a lover of baguette diamonds.

Jan, the designer and manufacturing jeweller of Eloise, was inspired by the 1950s trend of using different shaped side stones, as well as rails to pronounce those side stones and a strong design.

The platinum ring with a 0.77ct Sirius Star 100 Brilliant Diamond, exclusive to Dalgleish Diamonds, with two baguette shoulder diamonds, has an element of surprise. When the ring is tilted to the side, the Sirius Star centre-stone shines through on to the side baguettes, creating an extra sparkle perfect for turning heads.

Eloise is a dramatic, textured and extravagant design all about ultra-feminine glamour.

Taranaki in the 50s: It’s boom time! And, to celebrate, we found all sorts of ways of entertaining ourselves, including a new beauty pageant called Miss Brooklands to mark the opening of the Bowl of Brooklands in 1956.
