Zara 2010s

Zara is the strong, capable and independent woman who makes her own decisions and is not afraid to design her own unique future and her own unique pieces of jewellery—just like her namesake.

Thin bands and large oval diamonds are on trend in the 2010s. The oval diamond, usually set vertically, lets people design with their own personality around the stone—reinforcing today’s value placed on individual uniqueness.

Jan, our Manufacturing Jeweller, designed and crafted this ring based on a classic style while allowing for Zara to be herself. The oval diamond is 1.01ct, and it is surrounded by a unique diamond halo of 18 smaller brilliant diamonds, with an 18ct yellow gold band. It has been designed so that any style ring can sit up against the oval diamond to create an even more unique and personal set.

Taranaki in the 10s: In conjunction with celebrating 100 years of business, Dalgleish Jewellers rebrands with a name change to Dalgleish Diamonds and a refreshed store—matching the renewed growth in New Plymouth’s downtown (as typified by the construction of the Len Lye Centre and the West End Precinct).
