When Old Becomes New: Revitalising Vintage Jewellery

What do you do when you have a ring with a cushion cut diamond you love but don’t like the design of the ring? Visit the team at Dalgleish Diamonds to redesign and breathe new life into the piece!

Our client brought the original cushion cut diamond and ruby ring into Dalgleish Diamonds to meet with one of our talented designers to discuss her ideas for the piece. Working with Bill (Director, designer and master jeweller at Dalgleish Diamonds), they designed a bespoke design to showcase the diamond in a new and improved ring that was uniquely hers. 

Staying true to the vintage feel of the design, they agreed on a modern take on an art deco classic, with a stunning fanned diamond halo.

The design was entirely crafted by hand in platinum and set meticulously with fine grade tapered baguette diamonds to accent the original cushion cut centre diamond.
